NAPCON Siliguri Pre-Conference Workshop on Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) was held on 18 September 2026 at Maxwell Hospital, Siliguri, under the initiative of Dr. Abhishek Bali, Lead Consultant – Pulmonology, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine.
The workshop brought together healthcare professionals for focused academic discussions on the early recognition, diagnosis, clinical evaluation and contemporary management of Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). The programme featured an esteemed panel of lead faculty, including Dr. Raja Dhar, Dr. CP Sharma, Dr. Shyam Krisnan and Dr. Soumyakanti Ghatak, who contributed valuable insights and academic expertise.
The initiative aimed to promote specialised medical education and meaningful professional interaction among healthcare professionals across North Bengal and Sikkim. It also highlighted the growing importance of respiratory medicine and continuing medical education in the region.
